Maybe instead the bird should be trying to fly away, but the whales are using the net to try and keep it in the water?
@danineteen I feel like that already happened (in the hypothetical previous panel) — now the bird (i.e., twitter) is nearly dead and is being kept afloat by fail whales. Or maybe that will be in the next panel, when twitter fixes itself! ;)
